The Stepper process begins in one of our show homes located in every community we build in. This is where we work with you to pick a lot, your home model, talk pricing, financing and of course, customize your future home to make it yours. We’ll also help you understand what’s happening in the market and all the fine details of your home and community.
Stepper does more than build your home, we help turn your dreams and vision you’re your reality with our planning process. In these meetings Stepper staff will work with you to create the home you’ve been dreaming of right down to the smallest detail. Rudy always said that a no-surprise approach was the best approach to homebuilding, and it’s worked for half a century.
Every Stepper customer has one contact person throughout the entire construction process, the Area Construction Manager (ACM). Our ACM’s are passionate about helping our customers by being in the field every day and knowing exactly what’s happening with every Stepper home being built in your community. They’re decision makers so there’s no back and forth with multiple levels of management. You deal directly with the boss who can answer questions, meet on-site and offer you progress reports on your home. Why wait for answers?
We’re also incredibly passionate about service for our customers and taking care of your needs. Stepper’s Service Department is there for you and any needs you may have regarding warranty information, building a fence or developing your basement. Rudy likes to call them our ‘Know It All’ division but we thought Service was a little friendlier. If you ever have any questions you can call, email or fax them to us and you should have an answer within one business day.
